This is the bit of prestory for the collaboration Wendy and I did together. It was originally one of the prompts I had hashed out, but she and I decided to introduce our Bard-sorry she still doesn't have a name--later, when she had some time to gain a little perspective, heal, and hopefully fit into the theme of the contest more closely. I would love more sets of eyes to pick it apart, and I would consider filling it out more, but really, it was meant to be a short story. Thanks for reading, as always!
